Ratchanok Intanon will begin the defence of her Singapore Open title against Japan's Sayaka Sato today. Ratchanok finished second at the All England Open in March in her first tournament after a long injury lay-off. Following her loss to Olympic champion Carolina Marin in Malaysia, Ratchanok posted on her Instagram that she had given her all and felt sorry. Tai is the hottest player at the moment, with a win over Ratchanok in the All England final and victory against Marin in the Malaysia Open title match. The Taiwanese will begin her Singapore Open campaign against Thailand's Nitchaon Jindapol.
